While I have not yet had the pleasure to hear the full podcast on Real Genius, I feel that any in-depth discussion of 80′s cinema (such as your on-going endeavors) would be remiss to leave out Weird Science.
The names Anthony Michael Hall or John Hughes individually should be enough to make this a required review. I’m just saying.

Real men play two. Dre calls for a real genius / weird science double header.

Eventually, yes, but not for a while since you’ve already touched on the science nerd genre with Real Genius.

Absolutely. The atrocities presented in the Real Genius podcast should be rectified swiftly, no way is Real Genius better than Weird Science.

Dear esteemed gentleman of the awesome 80′ dot net. I do declare that the file Weird Science is a masterpiece, whose exemption form any 80′s film reviewer repetoir, would leave that body of work incomplete. It would make myself and my fellow men question the integrety of any man who claims himself a legimate expert on quality films. I do greatly look forward to hearing what I believe will be your greatest episode to date. I must also request in advance that never there be aa review of devils work. There is one film(if you wish to call it that) that was released in your target decade that was trluy an abomination unto God. The film to which I refer is entiltled “who’s that girl?” Please do not ever sully your esteemed reputation by paying tribute to this evil work of satan himself.
Thank you kindley
