Should I listen to all the pod casts in order….Or listen to the latest one and then catch up? okay I solved my own problem by typing it out on the computer…yet another lesson learned in the 80s invented by the great doctor Doogie Houser MD and stolen by that the magnificent Matthew Broderick’s Lil shoe-slut Sara Jessica Parker

Hi guys,
I came across your podcast while looking for ways to market our own weekly podcast on the same subject – 80′s movies. I see you are well established and sounds like you have a nice following.
We are VERY new with only 4 podcasts under our belts, but we’ve got a good plan and commitment to build an audience and find ourselves where you are now.
I’ve listened to a few minutes of a few podcasts to get a feel for how your show goes, but didn’t want to get too engrossed into listening as to not be influenced in our own podcast. We find that this topic is covered a lot in podcasting so we want hope that our approach to each episode is unique to other shows out there.
I think we’re on the right path right now. We’re still working out some kinks here and there and getting used to talking, but each episode, I think we loosen up more and just have fun and I think that’s the key. As long as we have fun doing it, there’s a reason to do the next one.
Anyway, I thought I’d drop a note and say hi. You are actually the first fellow podcaster we’ve reached out to. I don’t know how common it is to cross-promote on podcasts with the same topic, but we’d be open to talking more if you are interested. Being rookies, we totally understand if you feel otherwise.
Feel free to swing by our website and check us out and drop a note if you like.

Hello,
I produce a music podcast called All Time Top Ten. Each week myself and a guest host pick a topic and engage in a lively discussion while we play our top ten songs for the week. This past week my special guest was pop singer-songwriter Shannon Hurley and our topic was all about one of our favorite musical years, 1983. I’m positive this one is right up your alley… Check it out!

I also wanted to make a few topic suggestions if u don’t mind? Here they are: TMNT the movies, Cartoons and toys and the list from the listener below is pretty good as far as I am concerned. RED DAWN and knight rider sound fun and the ghostbusters cartoons and new game etc… thanks and hope to hear more soon.
many hours of entertainment and laughs and I hope you continue making more and hopefully a little more frequently if or when possible
Hope there is a NEW Christmas movie review/pod this year??? “A CHRISTMAS STORY” perhaps??? Thanks again for the laughs, you guys have a good thing going here at Awesome 80′s Podcast.
I just listened to your “Hoosiers” review and loved it! I heard you mention that you recently saw the film “Perks of a Wallflower”. I recently saw it also and enjoyed it. Suggestion: Did you ever think of doing an episode dedicated on films made about the eighties? Like Wallflower or The Wedding Singer…I’m sure there are more just drawing a blank. You guys are doing great and I look forward to each new episode. Can’t wait to hear the new podcast!
All my best!
